Itinerary

Parking: beside the Clue du Péroué
Distance: 14 km from Digne-les-Bains
Time: around 30 mins

Follow the signposts for the ‘Musée-Promenade'. Having crossed the bridge over the river Bès, carry on along the D900a in the direction of Barles. A few kilometres after Esclangon there is a car park on the left, beside a bridge and before the tunnel of La Clue du Pérouré.

(1) The path starts at the car park, and winds upward across red clay. Close to the abandoned village of Le Vieil Esclangon, pass through a forest into pastureland. (2) The Refuge d'Art – Vieil Esclangon is on the other side of the meadow.
Return by the same route.
